Revenue Visibility and Backlog Expansion

Embraer reported a record company-wide backlog of US$31.6 billion in the fourth quarter of 2025, representing a 20% year-over-year increase and a 1% sequential rise. The backlog expansion was supported by growth across multiple business segments. Commercial Aviation accounted for US$14.5 billion of the total backlog, increasing 42% year over year despite a 5% sequential decline following the renegotiation of Azul’s E195-E2 order during its Chapter 11 process. Executive Aviation reached a new all-time high backlog of US$7.6 billion, rising 3% year over year and 4% quarter over quarter. Defense & Security backlog stood at US$4.6 billion, reflecting growth of 10% year over year and 18% sequentially, while Services & Support maintained a strong backlog of US$4.9 billion, up 7% year over year.

Delivery Performance and Production Trends

The company delivered 91 aircraft in Q4FY25 across all business units, representing a 21% increase compared with 75 aircraft delivered in Q4FY24 and exceeding the 62 aircraft delivered in Q3FY25. For the full year 2025, total deliveries reached 244 aircraft, up 18% from 206 units in 2024. Executive Aviation accounted for 53 aircraft deliveries during the quarter, compared with 44 in the same period last year, while Commercial Aviation delivered 32 aircraft in 4Q25 and 78 aircraft for the full year, aligning with its annual guidance range of 77–85 units. Defense & Security delivered six aircraft in the quarter, including KC-390 Millennium and A-29 Super Tucano units.

Operational Developments Across Segments

Operational developments during the quarter included fleet expansion commitments for the E-Jet family and new defense contracts. TrueNoord placed a firm order for 20 E195-E2 aircraft with purchase rights for additional units, while Helvetic Airways ordered three E195-E2 aircraft with further purchase rights. Air Côte d’Ivoire signed a firm order for four E175 aircraft with additional purchase rights to enhance regional connectivity. In Defense & Security, contracts were signed for KC-390 aircraft with Sweden and Portugal, as well as A-29 Super Tucano aircraft for Panama. Meanwhile, the Services & Support segment advanced infrastructure expansion with construction of a new maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility in Fort Worth, Texas, expected to increase E-Jet service capacity in the United States by more than 50%.
