Chimera Investment Corporation (NYSE: CIM) reported net interest income of $69.6 million for the first quarter of 2023 compared to $137.7 million in the same period a year ago.
Net income available to common shareholders was $38.9 million, or $0.17 per share, compared to a net loss of $281.2 million, or $1.19 per share, last year.
Cash and cash equivalents at the end of the quarter were $232.3 million.
