Major companies reporting earnings this week: October 8 – 12

Here is a look at some of the major companies that will be reporting their earnings this week. It is worth noting that the coming Friday will be a big day for some of the top banks in the US, which includes JPMorgan, Citi and Wells Fargo.

Industrial supplies company Fastenal (FAST) will report third quarter earnings on Wednesday, October 10 at 6:50 am ET. The firm is expected to report revenues of $1.27 billion, reflecting a growth of 12.1%, along with an EPS of $0.67.

Atlanta, Georgia-based airline company Delta Air Lines (DAL) is scheduled to report third quarter earnings on Thursday, October 11 at 7 am ET. Delta is expected to report revenues of $11.9 billion, an increase of 7.7% year-over-year. Analysts expect EPS to be $1.76, reflecting a growth of 12.1%, helped by strong demand for air travel.

Retail pharmacy company Walgreens Boots Alliance (WBA) is scheduled to report fourth quarter earnings on Thursday at 7 am ET. Analysts expect revenues to increase 11.9% to $33.7 billion and EPS to grow 9.9% to $1.44. The company has beaten estimates consistently over the past four quarters. Last month, the company acquired pharmacy files from Fred’s Inc. (FRED) for $165 million.

Financial services provider JPMorgan Chase (JPM) is expected to report third quarter earnings on Friday, October 12 before market opens. Analysts expect revenues to fall 5.8% to $27.5 billion while EPS is expected to grow 27.8% to $2.25. The company has topped earnings estimates over the past four quarters.

Citigroup (C) is expected to report third quarter earnings at 8 am ET on Friday. Analysts expect the bank to report revenues of $18.4 billion, reflecting a decline of 18%. EPS is expected to grow 17.6% to $1.67. The bank has consistently reported better-than-expected earnings over the past four quarters.

Wells Fargo & Company (WFC) will report third quarter earnings at 8 am ET on Friday. Revenues are expected to drop 11.7% to $21.63 billion while EPS is expected to increase 12.5% to $1.17. The company has managed to top expectations only once over the past four quarters.

Bank holding company PNC Financial Services Group (PNC) is expected to report third quarter earnings on Friday before market opens. Analysts expect revenues to decline 5% to $4.34 billion while EPS is expected to increase around 26% to $2.72. The company has consistently topped estimates over the past four quarters.
