Financial Highlights (2025 vs 2024)

Fourth-quarter 2025 sales was $1,021 million, up 5% year-over-year. Core sales (excluding currency/acquisitions/divestitures) grew 4%. Full-year 2025 sales was $4.2 billion, up 2% compared with 2024.

GAAP EPS (earnings per share) for Q4 was $0.98 and for full year it was $3.93, both higher than in 2024. Adjusted EPS for Q4 was $1.18 (up 9%) and for full year it was $4.92 (up 14%), a record for the company.

Operating income increased in both the quarter and full year, with improved return on sales (ROS) on an adjusted basis. Operating cash flow was $815 million; free cash flow was $748 million for 2025.

Segment Performance

Flow segment’s Q4 sales was up 9% and full-year sales was  modestly higher. Had strong profit growth and improved return on sales. Pool segment had sales growth of 11% in Q4 and 9% for the full year, with profit gains. Water Solutions segment’s sales declined in Q4 and full year and segment profit was relatively flat for the year.

Shareholder Returns & Capital Allocation

Pentair maintained 50 consecutive years of dividend increases, raising its quarterly cash dividend and continuing share repurchases. A regular quarterly dividend of $0.27 per share was announced for early 2026, reflecting an 8% hike versus the 2025 quarterly payout.

Outlook

The company provided guidance for 2026 with expected GAAP EPS in the $4.94–$5.09 range and adjusted EPS $5.25–$5.40. Pentair expects continued growth in sales and earnings as it leverages its business systems and portfolio.
