Symantec Corporation (NASDAQ: SYMC): Q2 2020 Earnings Snapshot

— Symantec Corporation (NASDAQ: SYMC), which has been rechristened as NortonLifeLock (NASDAQ: NLOK) after the Broadcom buyout, reported earnings of $1.22 per share for the second quarter of 2020.

— Revenues declined to $608 million from $612 million in the same period of last year

— Net income was $785 million, compared to a loss of $8 million a year earlier

— Confirmed intent to issue a $12 per share special dividend to shareholders, to be declared and distributed in Q4

— Raises quarterly dividend to $0.125 per share, or $0.50 on an annual basis

— Expects revenue in the range of $602 million to $612 million for fiscal 2020

— Expects full-year adjusted earnings to be in the range of $0.05 per share to $0.10 per share
