Earnings watch: DST to nag release an hour forward

Adobe Systems, Broadcom, Oracle, and more earnings are scheduled for the week between March 11 and 15. Check out what to expect from the major earnings reports next week. March 10 marks the beginning of daylight saving time and the clocks are going to move faster by one hour.

Sporting goods retailer Dick’s Sporting Goods Inc. (DKS) will announce fourth-quarter earnings on Tuesday before the bell. Analysts expect earnings to fall 13.10% to $1.06 per share and revenue to decline 6.90% to $2.48 billion. The results will be hurt by a decrease in comparable sales that could face continued headwinds in the hunt and electronics categories.

General purpose database platform operator MongoDB Inc. (MDB) will report fourth-quarter results on Wednesday after the market closes. Analysts predict a loss of $0.38 per share on revenue of $74.03 million. The results will be benefited by subscription growth as demand from both new and existing customers could turn strong. The results will include the impact of mLab that could influence by about $5 million in revenue and neutral in terms of adjusted net loss per share.

Specialty apparel retailer Tailored Brands (TLRD) is set to post fourth-quarter results on Wednesday. Analysts expect a loss of $0.29 per share due to the goodwill impairment charge and higher operating expenses as well as the weak holiday season. Revenue is anticipated to fall 6.80% to $801.23 million as a decline in alteration and other services due to MW Cleaners divestiture overshadowed the rise in retail clothing sales.

Discount-store chain Dollar General (DG) will post Q4 results on Thursday before the bell. Earnings are expected to jump 27% to $1.88 per share and revenue is likely to increase 7.70% to $6.6 billion. The results will be benefited by higher same-store sales as well as the strong holiday season. The results will include an additional estimated $0.04 impact as a result of the third quarter hurricanes and other disasters.

Embraer S.A. (ERJ) will announce Q4 earnings on Thursday. Analysts project the company to report a loss of $0.02 per share on revenue of $1.69 billion. The results will be hurt by higher costs and expenses as well as a decline in the delivery of jets. The aircraft maker had expected the Commercial Aviation and Executive Jets segments to deliver a significant volume of aircraft during the fourth quarter.

Software solutions provider Adobe Systems (ADBE) is set to post first-quarter results on Thursday after the bell. Analysts project earnings to increase 3.90% to $1.61 per share helped by higher sales as well as its significant investments across its product portfolio. Revenue is predicted to jump 22.50% to $2.55 billion helped by broad-based growth from both the Digital Media and Digital Experience segments.

Broadcom Inc. (AVGO) will report Q1 earnings on Thursday. Analysts see a profit of $5.23 per share on revenue of $5.82 billion. The results will be benefited by strong growth in demand across its Networking, Enterprise Storage, Wireless and Industrial Products segments. The trade war uncertainty between Washington and Beijing had hurt the technology sector in the first quarter.

Cosmetics retailer Ulta Beauty (ULTA) could post Q4 results on Thursday. Earnings are anticipated to climb 29.10% to $3.55 per share and revenue is likely to rise 8.80% to $2.11 billion. The results will be benefited by market share gains across all major categories, strong retail comparable store sales, new store productivity and continued e-commerce strength. Comp sales will be driven by an increase in transaction growth and higher average ticket.

Tech giant Oracle (ORCL) will report Q3 earnings on Thursday. Analysts see a profit of $0.84 per share on revenue of $9.61 billion. The results will be benefited by higher revenue from Cloud Services and License Support segment while a decline in Cloud License and On-premise License, Hardware and Services segments could drag the top line.

As Jabil Inc (JBL) announces Q2 results on Thursday, analysts expect earnings of $0.61 per share on revenue of $6.1 billion. The results will be benefited by the positive momentum across all of its business segments. The electronics manufacturing company had expected positive momentum to continue into its second quarter helped by the strength in end-markets like automotive, cloud, healthcare and 5G wireless.
