Air Products & Chemicals Inc (APD) board authorized a 1.1% increase in the quarterly dividend to $1.81 per share on January 27. The company maintained its fiscal 2026 capital expenditure guidance at approximately $4.0 billion, a decrease from previous years as it moves toward project completion. Analysts noted that the BofA Securities upgrade to “Neutral” earlier in January was a key factor in stabilizing the stock ahead of this report.

The company confirmed it is in advanced negotiations with Yara International regarding equity stakes in the Louisiana Blue Ammonia and NEOM Green Hydrogen complexes. These partnerships are expected to reduce APD’s direct capital exposure by approximately $2 billion to $2.25 billion, shifting its role toward marketing and distribution.
