Cummins Inc. (NYSE: CMI), a manufacturer and distributor of power solutions, on Thursday reported a sharp increase in net income for the fourth quarter of fiscal 2025.
- Fourth quarter revenues were $8.5 billion, an increase of 1% from the same quarter in 2024
- Sales in North America decreased 2%, while International revenues increased 5%
- Net income attributable to the company was $593 million, compared to $418 million last year
- On a per-share basis, net income climbed to $4.27 in Q4 from $3.02 n the year-ago period
- EBITDA for the quarter was $1.2 billion, or 13.5% of sales, compared to $1.0 billion, or 12.1% of sales, a year ago
- The company projects full-year 2026 revenue to be up 3-8%, and EBITDA to be in the range of 17.0-18.0% of sales
- It plans to continue generating strong operating cash flow and returns for shareholders
