HPE posts Q1 EPS of $0.59, topping estimates, but revenue of $9.20B misses consensus.

HP Inc. reported fiscal Q1 2026 GAAP diluted earnings per share (EPS) of $0.58, compared with $0.59 in the prior-year period. Non-GAAP diluted EPS was $0.81, increasing from $0.74 a year earlier. 

The company generated net revenue of $14.4 billion, representing 6.9% year-over-year growth (5.2% in constant currency). 

Profitability metrics showed GAAP operating margin of 5.3% and non-GAAP operating margin of 6.9% for the quarter. Net earnings totaled $545 million, while non-GAAP net earnings were $753 million. 

From a cash flow perspective, net cash provided by operating activities was $383 million, and the company generated free cash flow of $175 million during the quarter. HP also returned approximately $0.6 billion to shareholders through dividends and share repurchases. 

For the second quarter of fiscal 2026, HP expects GAAP diluted EPS to be in the range of $0.52 to $0.58 and non-GAAP diluted EPS between $0.70 and $0.76.
