URI Earnings: United Rentals reports higher Q3 2023 profit and revenues
Equipment rental company United Rentals, Inc. (NYSE: URI) announced financial results for the third quarter of 2023, reporting strong growth in revenues and profit.
The company posted a total revenue of $3.77 billion for the September quarter, which is up 23% from the corresponding period of 2022.
As a result, third-quarter net income increased to $703 million or $10.29 per share from $606 million or $8.66 per share in the prior-year quarter. On an adjusted basis, earnings increased 27% annually to $11.73 per share.
