A slew of major companies are reporting earnings for the week from March 4 till March 8. Cloud enterprise software company Salesforce.com (CRM) will announce fourth-quarter earnings on Monday after the bell. Analysts expect earnings to climb 57.10% to $0.55 per share and revenue to surge 24.90% to $3.56 billion. The results will be benefited by the customer demand and the strong growth in all four segments.
Target Corporation (TGT) will report fourth-quarter results on Tuesday before the bell. Analysts predict earnings of $1.52 per share on revenue of $23.05 billion. The holiday season that turned out pretty well could drive the results. The strong traffic and positive store comps are likely to drive comparable sales for the quarter as the company continues to invest in products, stores, and technology.
Chinese microblogging giant Weibo Corporation (WB) is set to post fourth-quarter results on Tuesday. Analysts expect earnings to rise 17.20% to $0.75 per share as an increase in advertising and marketing revenue as well as higher value-added service revenue could drive the top line higher. Revenue is anticipated to jump 27.60% to $481.56 million with the benefit coming from the net addition of users and the increase in advertising revenue.
Department store chain Kohl’s Corporation (KSS) will post Q4 results on Tuesday. Analysts project the company to report earnings of $2.18 per share on revenue of $6.58 billion. The results will be benefited by the improved online channel and competitive pricing. The retailer has been witnessing positive momentum across its apparel business backed by the merchandise offerings and e-commerce platform.
Specialty retailer Urban Outfitters (URBN) will announce Q4 earnings on Tuesday after the bell. Earnings are expected to jump 27.40% to $0.79 per share and revenue is likely to increase 4.60% to $1.14 billion. The results will be benefited by the broad-based comparable sales growth. The growth in all the three main business segments could drive the top line higher.
Off-price retail apparel operator Ross Stores (ROST) is set to post fourth-quarter results on Tuesday. Analysts project earnings to rise 15.30% to $1.13 per share helped by a decline in costs and expenses as well as lower income tax provision. However, revenue is predicted to fall by 0.40% to $4.05 billion. The US Census Bureau data showed that the clothing and accessories category posted another solid year-over-year sales gain. This bodes well for Ross Stores.
Dollar Tree (DLTR) will report Q4 earnings on Wednesday before the bell. Analysts see a profit of $1.92 per share on revenue of $6.19 billion. The top line is likely to be hurt by the company’s same-store sales forecast that will be in the low single-digit range for the combined enterprise. The bottom line will be benefited by the fall in costs and expenses.
Specialty apparel retailer American Eagle Outfitters (AEO) could post Q4 results on Wednesday after the bell. Earnings are anticipated to decline by 4.50% to $0.42 per share while revenue is likely to rise by 2.20% to $1.26 billion. The top line will be benefited by broad-based demand growth, especially from the holiday season sales. However, the bottom line could be hurt by higher costs and expenses.

The Kroger Co. (KR) will report Q4 earnings on Thursday before the bell. Analysts see a profit of $0.52 per share on revenue of $28.38 billion. The results will be hurt by higher costs and expenses as well as adjustment related to change in the market value of its investment in Ocado securities. The results are likely to include the holiday season sales.
As Burlington Stores Inc. (BURL) announces Q4 results on Thursday, analysts expect earnings of $2.77 per share on revenue of $2.04 billion. The results will be benefited by comparable sales increase, overall sales growth, and adjusted EBIT margin improvement. The bottom line will be driven by strong sales growth and expense leverage, primarily on occupancy and marketing, as well as disciplined expense management.
Costco Wholesale (COST) will announce second-quarter earnings on Thursday after the bell. Analysts expect earnings to climb 6.30% to $1.69 per share and revenue to rise 8.10% to $35.68 billion. The results will be benefited by higher store and online sales as well as comparable sales growth. The mounting competition from Walmart (WMT) and Amazon (AMZN) could hurt Costco’s e-commerce sales for the second quarter.
Navistar International Corporation (NAV) will report first-quarter results on Friday before the bell. Analysts predict earnings of $0.16 per share on revenue of $2.18 billion. The results will be driven by higher core volumes, which could represent sales of Class 6-8 trucks and buses in the US and Canada.
